Fee: $80, Makers (members) $70
In this woodcut workshop, Perry will take students through the process of block preparation, image creation, transfer of the image to the woodblock, carving and printing techniques. For the ambitious, or those who have taken the workshop before, there will be the opportunity to experiment with color in the form of reduction woodcut or multiple block registration. We will also explore tools, papers and resources for printmaking supplies and support. Tool sets are available for about $7 at the UO Bookstore or Oregon Art Supply. We'll will have sets available for purchase at the first class.
Join us for some creative family fun!
From magnetic puzzles to robot rockets to sock creatures, there's always a fun, all-ages craft project for kids and families on Saturdays. No need to preregister, just drop in any time between 11am - 3pm. All materials are included for each workshop. We ask for a $3-$5 sliding scale donation per child. Children under 10 should be accompanied by an adult. Each week features a different creative reuse project.
