MECCA Partners with Network Charter School

MECCA began teaching classes to middle and high school students as part of the Network Charter School.
January, 2001

MECCA becomes a 501(c)3 nonprofit

MECCA becomes a 501(c)3 nonprofit with the mission to divert materials from the waste stream and bring them into our community’s creative endeavors.

MECCA is founded

MECCA was founded to provide educators with materials to further artistic discovery and creativity among students. Leaders from BRING Recycling joined the cause.
